Exploration And Identification Of Antagonic Fungi On The Rhizosphere Of Clove Plants (Syzygium aromaticum L.) In Ambon Island

Antagonistic fungi are a group of that can suppress or inhibit the growth and development plant pathogens. This study aimed to isolate fungus from rhizosphere clove (Syzygium aromaticum L.) two sub-districts Leihitu Barat Leihitu, test ability these isolates Rizoctonia solani. Exploration was carried out using simple random sampling method, taking soil samples plants Hatu, Allang, Asilulu Seith. Then isolated by dual culture method after that, identified based on identification key book calculated its inhibition against The results showed 10 fungal were identified, namely 4 genera, Trichoderma, Aspergillus, Penicillium Rhyzopus. around contains antagonistic tomato sprouting pathogens (Rhizoctonia solani). Obtained 7 antagonist Trichoderma sp. with antagonism showing highest achieved TrichoRCTAL2 (89,52%), lowest percentage TrichoRCTAS4 (44,07%).
